iOS 4.0 iPod touch 3G home button issue?

    Does anyone know if the issue with the home button believing you hit it twice even if you hit it once, has been fixed in 4.0?

    It may be a hardware issue, but it could also be software, depending on where the problem is.

    If it's in the hardware then it would be the reader being the issue, if it's software it would be duplication of a single signal. And I don't know how to troubleshoot it to see which one it is, so I figured I'd ask and see if anyone noticed it or not.

    Depends kinda like my friends accelerometer he restored and it worked again

    i've restored my ipod touch 3G so many times, i still have this double tap home button issue. starting to really drive me nuts...

    That probably means it's a hardware problem.

    Actually i have this same issue, it isnt exactly fixed but in beta 2 it doesnt do it as much as in beta 1 .. i didnt try beta 3 or 4 yet ( enjoying having my iPod touch 3G on a jailbroken 3.1.3 before going back to 4.0 ^_^ )

    ghey, i have a feeling apple will reject a warranty claim for an intermittent issue. oh well.
