iPod touch 3G can run SOME iPhone 4 apps.

    Sure isnt such a surprise. But I'm sure at least one person was wondering.

    Well, iMove works on iPod touch 3G, but, obviously, you can only do slideshows. Suspiciously, the camera button is there, but it is grayed out. This is rather unusual, because other iPhone apps that have a camera function would crash if you attempt to utilize it on iPod touch. The fact that the camera button is grayed out makes me wonder...

    Secondly, X-Plane HDEF-4G works on iPod touch 3G. Its built for Retina Display, so text is hard to read on iPod. Otherwise, everything else works fine.

    But it brings me to this; is there much of a point advertising an app as iPhone 4 only if it works on other devices? Hmm...

    Yes. Cause it was made to work with the phone with it's full capabilities. The fact that some slighty work with other devices is a bonus. But if it crashes or something, you can't blame them cause it was meant for the phone.
