I know I can JB it with jailbreakme.com but from what I heard I wont have the new iOS 4 features like wallpaper, multitasking, etc.

Is there a way to do it with redsn0w?

    Thanks.

Or you can just jailbreak via jailbreakme and go into cydia and search for features and install it lol.

Features in Cydia doesn't work for iPod Touch 3G 8GB.

Editing the required Plist files using the tutorial is the recommended way to do it, i've done a few friends 8gb like that worked everytime

You do know the 8GB MC iTouch has the same processor as the 2nd gens? So they classified it as a 2nd gen..
