My local Apple Store said that they will let me trade my iPod touch in and pay the price difference for an iPod touch 4G. But I have ALL SHSH blobs saved on my device. Should I take this offer?

That seems like an awesome deal! What is the gap?? They aren't just giving you the 10% discount that people here say you may get right?

I'm going in to an apple store tomorrow to get my ipod touch 32gb 3rd gen repaired (home button intermittently not working). Maybe they might let me upgrade it to a 4th gen for a reasonable price

whats the point of not? are u sure they didnt mean the 10% trade in thing? dont do it if its that. i bet its that. but if its not thers no reason not to. the SHSH has nothing to do with it, you wouldnt be able to downgrade the new touch anyways.

there is no way this guy is getting more than 10% off of his new device. that has to be what apple means about switching it in, because if you switch it in for more money than 10% don't you think everyone would do the same?

he is just getting 10% off.
