I sometimes use my iPod to read ebooks. Is there a way to enlarge the font size of the text?

Also I listen to audiobooks on it. Is there any way to increase the volume any more than the volume control button allows?

    I'm getting old!

    I'd appreciate any help.

    Thanks.

    Font size ...
If it's jailbroken, try fontswap? Or get an ebook reader with the option?

For audiobooks, well, you could do open up the book in iTunes and change how loud it will play. I'm not very sure at all of the specifics, I just remember seeing that. I'll fill you in later in more detail if I can.

Font size will be completely determined by the ebook reader program you use, but all the major ones allow you to adjust font size.

I use Stanza (which is great and free) and InstaPaper for web clips (also great and free, though I bought the pro version.)
