HI everybody, Is there a big difference when running a gba emulator on 3 gen than on a 2 gen.
The gen3 is faster, but for all practical purposes, they should run about the same, since a gen2 shouldnt have any problems handling GBA emulation.
wat. 3rd gen has twice the RAM and a faster processor.
Yeah, but a 2G should be sufficient for GBA emulation. That is not to say that the 3G isn't a whole lot faster (its processor is way more advanced and the graphics processor is crazy powerful), its just that both should have no problem handling GBA games.
True, but the 2G is a little skippy at times.
so it will a bit smoother on the 3gen than on the 2gen right? Also would the amount of space affect performance?
i gotta say i have the 2nd and 3rd gen and i dont see that big of a difference
Play N.O.V.A on both and you will see a difference. Did the same test with my friends 2G, I was surprised.
I just the game play of Nova its really good. This game must take up a lot of resources and if there is a difference when playing this game on a 2g than on a 3g the gba emulator must run better on the 3g
sufficient = 60fps
2nd gen got 60fps if you did frameskip and no audio
3rd gen got 200fps with no frameskip and audio enabled
so 3rd gen is big improvement
overall 4X better gaming
