Hey guys, I installed 3.1 beta 4 version in ipod. When i connect ipod touch to the computer I cant sync or restore it, because it says that i am not in the iPhone developers program...

So ok, I decided to restore it manually. I tried to press homebutton and connect the ipod to the pc - didn't worked.

I tried to 'power button' ; 'power and home button' ; 'home button' tehnique - didn't worked.

And then I noticed, that my home button dosen't work.

    What shoud I do?

Try This, its a guide for DFU mode, and do it carefully.
Also - there is no 3.1 beta 4, you must be talking either about 3.0b4 or 3.1b1

You should not pirate the betas for 2 reasons:
    1- It is illegal
2- Why? 3.0 is out now, do you really need the beta?

Are you a registered Apple Developer?

You never mentioned anything about registering your UDID with Apple....
    That may be the problem.

I thought - the newer, the better... And I'm not in any developer's program

Yes, newer usually means better. Not always, though. And when we are talking about BETA software, all of that goes down the drain. Beta software means it has not been completed and has not been tested fully, so it's most likely worse than the latest stable official release. Besides, if you aren't a developer, then you shouldn't have it anyway.

So is there any way to restore it? Is it possible to register in that development program with fake name and so on?

You could find a developer, then beg them to add your UUID to their account. That however, is extremely unlikely.

You'll just need to wait until the official one is out, then restore to that.
I don't know how many times I've said this though:

    Don't pirate the betas.

It does more bad than good.
