Ipod touch 2nd gne dead?! bricked?!

    hi ive gt a ipod touch 2nd gen running 3.1.2 and jailbroken withe blackra1n, i was browsing on safari and my ipod died in my hands

    i tried connecting it to the computer and otunes but they do not recgonise mt ipod ive tried dfu mode and recovery mode however they did not work my ipod wont start up or show the "connect to itunes" image

    You can't brick an iPod touch, did you check your connections?

    I don't think you can brick it.............. Put it in DFU the correct way.

    i have tried putting it in dfu and i knw i have dne it CORRECTLY put it does not work plz help

    then you are screwed...... lol. Seems like you answered you own question.

    But seriously now. When I jailbroke the old way (USING REDTOOL) I would use that program as a guide for getting into DFU.

    Use something as a guide to put your device into DFU.

    i used videos on hw to put put it in dfu mode and guides put none of them seem to work

    OK, listen up. Hold the home button and power button for 10 seconds.. release the power button and keep holding the home button until iTunes gives you a message.

    Use a clock with a second hand for a reference. Turn the sound volume all the way up!!!! When you hear the "Du do" sound you know that the sh*t is detected and go from there to do a restore.
