    Hey there,

I bought a new iPod Touch 2nd Gen MC yesterday with the firmware 3.1.3 on it. I googled for how to jailbreak it but everyone was saying something diffrent so I thouht I'll ask here to go sure.

So bassicly I've got 2 questions:

Does MC mean that the jailbreak will be gone after rebooting the device ? And if it's true can I somehow stop this so I don't have to jailbreak it every time I reboot?

Can I just downgrade to 3.1.2 Firmware and than jailbreak it with blackra1n ?

Ah yeah besides, i'm a windows user.

    Cheers

No that's wrong. There are 2nd Generation MC models. If it would be a 3Generation I would have received some earphones with a microphone on it , wouldn't I ?

Lets just say it's a late 2nd gen model, okay? Click here to downgrade then jailbreak.

No, those only come with the 32GB. If it is a MC model it will come with 3.X.X installed. With the 8GB you can downgrade though, using Coca-Cola's method.

It's a 2nd generation, meaning 2nd gen hardware, meaning my method will work, meaning he can jailbreak, meaning he's free to jailbreak.
