iPod Touch 2nd Gen screen problem

    I have an iPod Touch 2nd gen and the screen remains as shown in the pictures. Is this a problem with the LCD screen?

    No it didn't. I wish it were that easy to figure out. lol

    shine a torch in the headphone jack and se if the litmus paper is: pink..thats bad lol..

    HAHA....but really, any ideas of why this is the way it is?

    Yeah. Go check the litmus paper. Pink means you had a lot of moisture get in there. (not necessarily caused by immersing it in water, for example)

    I checked the litmus paper and that was all white.

    It may have been. I'll prolly take off the screen and take a look at it.

    I found out that the person i'm trying to figure this problem out for dropped the iPod Touch once and since then it has had this screen problem. Should i take the screen off and take a look at the LCD screen?
