So yesterday I updated to 4.0 and jailbroke my iPod Touch 2nd Gen. Beforehand, I had used Aptbackup from Cydia to make a list of all the apps that I had gotten. I went on Cydia and got Aptbackup again and did the restore function. It took several minutes and then my iPod rebooted itself. When it came back on, it was in safe mode. I try restarting the iPod but it still remains in safe mode. I also tried turning it off and back on but it still remains in safe mode. Any help on how to get out of it?

Put it in DFU mode. and then restore.
Then after thats done you should be able to Re-jailbreak.
