ipod touch 2g wont tun on

    my ipod just wont turn on ive tried everything and i cant get it to power up f anyone could help that would be great

    Did you jailbreak it? Cause if you did, then you obviously don't like to read.

    i tried dfu and restore it says need lates version of itunes which i have i tried plugging into wall charger a different comp everything i know it isnt dead the battery was fully charged when it stopped wrkin

    i dont know what happened it just does not turn on or respong to anything when i plug it into itunes it reads it sometimes but says it needs to be restored but it wont restore it those are all the details i know

    you might want to reinstall itunes

    Your in dfu mode. Your gonna have to restore.......
    EDIT: I didn't read all of your last post. Try to hold shift as you click restore, then click the firmware you are running. Also os your ipod jailbroken?
