Hey I have a 2G ipod touch with 2.2.1 on it. I used Cyw00ds jailbreak helper about a year ago to originally jailbreak my ipod and I had also used it to reboot my ipod. The computer I jailbroke it on ran XP and it recently crashed and all I have access to is a vista computer and my ipod needs to be rebooted. I can get my ipod into dfu mode and all, but using the same GUI i used on the XP computer doesnt work. I'm sure this is an easy fix but I'm not sure what to do.

I'd get it into DFU, and jailbreak into a 3.x firmware... Much better than 2.0. If you want to keep 2.0 - 3.0, then, restore to the firmware, and use QuickPwn / RedSn0w.... If you want to go 3.x+ then restore to 3.x and use BlackSn0w / QuickPwn / RedSn0w.
