Hey, my headphone jack (broke) is lodged deep into my ipod touch. If I upgrade to 3.1.2 can I use bluetooth since it sends signals from inside the ipod touch?
Will bluetooth (headphones) work if you also have a wired headphone plugged into your ipod touch?
Thanks, cause I want to be able to use headphones via bluetooth for my ipod touch since wired headphones wont work. Thanks.

    cliffs:
-wired headphone jack broke in ipod touch and cant get it out
-will bluetooth send signals even though a headphone jack is plugged into there

Thanks, and my speakers dont work since its sending the sound thru the headphone jack.

Theoretically, it should. i have researched and all answers point to yes. give it a try, if it dosent work, try and get some really small tweezers or sumthin i dont know. but from everything i have heard it should definitely.

Just give it back to Apple. They'll fix it. But restore your ipod seeing as it jailbroken.

Ok thanks. I'll get a bluetooth headphone. Can anyone tell me some good headphones?
Also, I don't want to give it to apple unless bluetooth doesn't work.
And I wasn't sure which section to put this in. Since this is the 3.1.2 firmware forum? my bad.

    +1

I'd get the jack fixed fast, it's where Apple placed the liquid detector.

no i just call you as i see you, unhelpful and hence a douche. Its hardly flaming merely asking you to stay on track as you are prone to posting absolutely useless things in order to up your postcount. once again you have done nothing to answer anything the OP has said
