Wifi has never been much of a problem since i got my touch last year.

So, I upgraded my touch to 3.0 last night.
In the first 2 hours, it was fine, everything was doing good... Until a bit later, I found out my wifi wasn't connecting or detecting anything.

I thought it was my router, so i restarted it. Nothing was on the wifi list, so....
First, i reseted my network settings,
    Didn't work.
    I restored it with iTunes,
    Didn't work.
I restored it with iTunes again,
    Didn't work.
So i went on restoring it for another 3 times,
    Didn't work.

Is the wifi chip fried or am i just EXTREMELY UNLUCKY?

That might be a bug with 3.0
Some people experience that bug, and others don't. Since you have already restored, try restoring back to 2.2.1 and see if your wifi works after that.

Have you JB'ed your ipt? You might have some app, like bosspref and SBSettings stoping you by disabling Wi-Fi.
I had problems with those apps at my friends house, was trying to get on his Wi-Fi with his password, but the ipt kept on saying it's the wrong password. After I switched the Wi-Fi on SBSettings, the Wi-Fi worked.

    I don't think there's a jailbreak for 3.0 yet

ya no jailbreak yet for 3.0

to OP, i have the same issue... im taking it into apple cause of a power button issue and so im gonna complain about wifi as well so that i can gurantee myself a new ipod lol
its just a 3.0 bug as mitchell pointed out, but it is VERY frustrating.

go back to 2.2.1 if wifi is very important to u.
