Wel, as you heard the iPod Touch is due to come out in september with a 16GB and a 64GB, or so it's rumoured. Anyways, if they do release a 64GB model, wont the Sync time be extortionate? like an hour or something? Your thoughts please

well, to back up 8 gigs takes a while, so i would believe 64 gigs would take much longer, they'll fix it... i hope

They'll need a different connector, it would have to be like 70 pin

    There won't be a 64gb model.
Anyway, it doesn't back up every single song and video, only applcations, for f***s sake.

^^ that answer your question? Besides, it only fully syncs the first time, then just adds to that. Duh

I know it dont backup, but if you want to put 64GB of music on, then restore. you have to put it back on, and when you import 64GB of music to iTunes

They might improve it, I dont know. But syncing around 60GB worth of content at the speed of the current iPod touch's would take forever!

syncing even 30gigs of music takes a sh*t ton of time. is it just me or does the 5th gen ipod seem to sync fastest of all ipods? is it becasue of the hard drive as opposed to the flash drive in the touch?

There won't be a 64GB Touch unless they move to a HDD.

Samsung has not sold there flash drive yet, and I don't see them secretly giving it to Apple and not using it themselves.
