Hi guys, I was fooling around with my iPod touch 2g today and I went to general >reset > reset all settings ( the one where the media or data does NOT get erased) and my iPod suddenly went into the connect to itunes screen. It was jailbroken on the IOS 4 firmware btw.

I've tried to restore it back to 4 and 3.1.3, but itunes keeps giving the 3014 error. I've tried it on two different computers and I've tried to get into DFU mode(unsuccessfully) on both. I don't know what to do. Any ideas?

Yeah, it isn't an MC.The problem is I can't get it into DFU mode, I follow the instructions the connect to itunes screen disappears, then the apple screen appears and then it suddenly goes back to the connect to itunes screen
