Ipod touch 2g speaker problem

    So i have an ipod touch 2g 16 GB but the speaker won't work but it does work with headphones i can't even change the volume with the buttons without headphones any solution

    restored it a few times i even tried DFU restore but i think i did the DFU restore wrong cause i just saw there shouldn't be a plug into itunes icon when DFU Restoring

    Dfu restore is:
    1.plug it into the computer
    2.hold the home and power buttons for 10 seconds
    3.release the power button

    You should get a black screen and itunes will pop up saying it has detected an iPod in recovery mode.
