    Greetings people,

First of all a big hi to fellow iPod touch fans. I have an iPod touch 2G running on OS 3.0 - no jailbreak/hacks. I have a wifi modem which i use with iPod touch to surf internet. I would like to make Skype-Skype calls (the other party will be on a PC). Was thinking if there would be any issues ? Do normal headphones-mic available in the market for PCs work with the iPod touch for Skype calls? Kindly leave your valuable inputs.

    Thanks.

I have the Philips iPod Touch/iPhone microphone and works fine for apps that need a mic. Have tried skype on it and works fine for me. Also tried other telephony apps and it sounds okay too.

Here's a youtube link of unboxing it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-v-x7XGOk0

    but it disables speaker...

the PC headsets are usually 2 plugs, one for mic and one for headphone and this will not work, but any mobile 4 pin 3.5mm headsets will work
