All of a sudden, my ipod touch 2g with redsn0w lite is running very slow. I haven't had a problem like this before. What is happening is that it takes a while to respond to a lot of commands. When I slide to unlock, the slider stays at the end for about 6 seconds before unlocking. When I try to type something into the keyboard, the letters take a long time to be typed in. I have turned off everything in winterboard, checked sbsettings for anything wrong, and also checked if push was on. I want to turn it off and see if that helps, but since it is having trouble responding to my commands, I'm afraid that the timing for putting it into DFU mode won't be right.

Is my only option to restore it and have to re-jailbreak again? While I'm restoring, could it still go slow. Sorry for all the questions, I'm desperate.

EDIT: Problem solved. All I had to do was reboot. I feel stupid, sorry for wasting everyones time.

You know it is good to reboot every once in a while?

Yes I know. I should start doing that. I will, if I can get rid of this problem. By the way, I have also tried respringing, that also didn't work

Ok so reboot your iPod. If you are tethered there is untethered now.

Your not really helping. Did you read my entire first post? My ipod is slow to my commands. I have redsn0w lite. If I turn off my ipod, theres a chance that I will have a lot of trouble putting it into DFU mode because it is running slow.

    Sorry if I sound rude.

DFU is like a subsystem, it's not part of your iPhone OS, the reason is because if you damage your OS, there is always DFU mode. Therefore is no way DFU mode could be affected by your OS, so it won't be running slow.

    DFU + Restore.

Alright, I'm gonna try rebooting, I'll let you know what happens.

By the way, I use oneclickboot to boot my 2g

IT WORKS now. Thank you so much! I feel really stupid now. All I had to do was reboot it.
