I was just wondering why whenever I have my iPod locked my iPod sometimes plays music even when I turn off the music and not touch anything. Anyone know what the problem could be?

I don't understand, does it play music when it's locked or when it's completely off?

Its supposed to do that, just press the home button twice when at the lock screen and press pause if you don't want it to play.

So it's suppose to play music randomly when I don't want it to listen to it in my pocket when I lock it?

Were you listening to music when you locked it?

Nah, I just went to my homescreen and locked it because I was done with it for that time and then when i'm just sitting in school I would randomly hear music and I look at my iPod and music is playing and I didn't touch anything at all.

Something in your pocket must have activated it, possibly a object hit the home button twice causing it to play....
