Ipod touch 2g not responding. Help!!!

    may someone please help me. ive got an ipod touch 2g, it isnt jailbroken, DFU mode isnt working (and i know how to get it into DFU mode, done it before with my iphone) nothing is happening. The ipod Touch isnt responding at all... its not even charging and itunes cant recognize it. This is a tough one. any suggestions?

    Try holding the home button and the power button until you see the apple logo.

    I tried that just now. For 5 mins. Didn't work. Any other suggestions? Lol. Thankz

    Okay, plug your iPod into the computer, make sure its off, now hold the home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen.

    The iPod is off. Can't turn it on. Lol. Nope. iTunes isn't saying anything. Arghh

    DFU mode MUST work. its hardware based. hold the home button and THEN plug it in.

    if it's not responding than it must be in dfu mode restart the computer than try itunes again.

    I've tried dfu mode and recovery mode by holding the home button and plugging it in. No luck. I've tried restartiing it. Again no luck.
