iOS 3.1 iPod touch 2G(MB) will not boot into safe mode?

    Okay, my iPod will not boot into Safe Mode. I looked around the forum and couldn't find anything. All I saw was how to get out of Safe Mode. Now, I need Safe Mode so I can play some of my iPod games(without them lagging, and yes they are legal[paid]apps

    3.1.2 right? yeah. its really difficult to get into safe mode. i couldn't do it.

    USE SWAPMODE FROM CYDIA is better than safe mode

    i NEVER EVER got into safe mode in the three months i had 3.1.2. except for once, after the entire respring-reboot loop i got into...

    it just resprings when you hit the safe mode button?
