Hi, in installer when i add the source http://ride4.org/shai.xml, it adds fine. but when i go to click on one of its packages e.g. 'all sources', it says "unable to decode package more info at http://ride4.org/installer/allresources.html" What do i do?

    Also...

When ever my ipod restarts, reboots, resprings - all the apps get muddled up, i got told it was cause of Kate so i unistalled it (i think, well removed it anyway) and it still does it? Help????

    thanks

you can do most things on cydia than you can do on installer, just this morning i had the app problem, idk why,and i just re jailbroke. not the funnest way to get it up and running, but if you back up your apps before hand, it does the trick.
btw im diggin your avatar ^^

Just uninstall anything you installed from Cydia that you think its causing your problem. In this case it is the source http://ride4.org/shai.xml After uninstalling restart your ipod and see what happens. If not then rejailbreak it and learn your lesson not to install that source.

Though I'm not really sure why a source would cause this.

Nothing I can tell to help you really but troubleshooting to see what the problem is. Uninstall all Cydia Apps and then restart and see if it still randomly swaps about. If it does that means one of the Cydia Apps was messing around with it. If it doesn't it means something is wrong with the iPod itself and you will need to restore and rejailbreak.

You can't backup jailbroken applications, iTunes just won't do it
