ipod touch 2g jailbreak help!!

    ok so im completely new to this and i have no idea what to do. but i want to jailbreak my ipod touch. where can i find a guide or video to help me do this? i need one that can be really specific becuz im not really sure what im doing and i dont want to mess anything up. please help me.
    also i think when u jailbreak your ipod, you can choose what firmware you want to run on it? what is the best one to run?

    also im running windows vista

    Use this, all you need to do is run the program, put your ipod in DFU mode (it will guide you through this) and let the program do it's job.

    what is dfu mode? and how do i do that? do i put it in dfu mode before or after i run the program?

    It doesn't matter, the program includes a DFU mode helper, but if you don't want to use it look in my sig for a DFU mode tut

    Redsn0w is much easier for a beginner

    so i should unplug my ipod from the computer?...(the readme in redsnow folder says its not recommended to connect thru a usb hub) and so the app will put my ipod in dfu mode by itself?

    You need to have your iPod directly connected to your computer. No, but the program will put you through the steps of putting your iPod in dfu mode

    ok i went thru all of that stuff. now my ipod rebooted and everything is the same except i have a application called "cydia" and when i click on it it wants to know if im a user, hacker, or developer. what do i choose? and did the jailbreak work?

    ok i clicked user and now it wants me to do a complete update. so i am.
    is my ipod jailbroken now? what all can i do?

    and is there anything i should know? like am i not supposed to use itunes now or anything? anything i should know about what NOT to do?
