    Hello,
I come straight to the point:
It all started with a crack in the touch screen.
I thought I can exchange the touchscreen myself, so I have ordered a new frame + new Glass .
So yesterday, my order came. I opened my touch.
The display had no damage, then in the heat of the battle, the Ipod turned on.
i Could not shutr him down, because there was not a Toucscreen.
I thought to myself there will nothing bad happen. After an hour I wanted to apply my glass + frame.
I connected the touchscreen with the Ipod and carefully put it on the Ipod.
So now have a short test if the touch screen works, i unlocked it.
Then I pressed with more or less violence, the touch screen into the case.
Now I do not remember what had happened.
    There are two possibilities:
1.the display got crushed during ilstalling the touchscreen
    or
2.The Display "burned away" or bypassed, because it was on and open.

Well watch the pictures, so you have an idea of how he looks now ...
Now I wonder what to do ..
    4 possibilities:

    1.Buy an new Display LCD
2.Buy an defect Ipod with Touchscreen crack, where i can install my new glass
    3.Buy an new Ipod
    4.Give the Ipod up

Only now I don´t know what is going on ... What if the fault is not on display?
Maybe a new Display gets automaticly "burned"?
These are the questions that occupy me now.
Buy a new LCD screen is the cheapest alternative.

i think you may have busted some pixels on the screen. i dunno about replacing that part, but you may have to go get a new iPod.
