Can 4.1 Official Firmware be jailbroken on iPod Touch 2G (Non MC)?

Does using redsn0w and driecting the firmware towards 4.0 help to jailbreak 4.1? Has cydia been updated to work with 4.1?

Currently running on 4.0 Jailbroken. 4.0 Blobs saved

I wouldn't recommend it, i tried it on my ipt2g and it caused the Wifi not to work. I also was not able to turn off my device. I would not recommend doing it until they release an updated version of redsn0w or sn0wbreeze.

i believe you can still jailbreak using the redsn0w beta 5. since ipod touch 2G has old bootrom it should still work. i haven't had issues with wifi but it's alrite if you want to wait.

    but i'm saying it works.

So your saying you have an ipt2 and you have it jailbroken on 4.1 final without any problems. Everyone else is having wifi and issues with it not turning off when doing so. What did you do different. I'd like to know because so far no one has had any luck but you.
