when i turn bluetooth on it says
    Devices
    Searching....
    Now discoverable
Does that mean there is something wrong with the access point or is there no people on bluetooth?

Bluetooth is used to pair two close range devices. You'd need to turn on Bluetooth on the device you're trying to use. Also, "Now Discoverable" means your iPod will show up on other Bluetooth devices.

However, as of now, you can only use Bluetooth for wireless headphones.

Oh, well, that's automatic when you launch the game on two iPods...
I haven't seen any peer to peer games yet.

Does that mean a mono earpiece, like my Jabra BT250, will not work?

I don't understand how my iPhone 3G Bluetooth detects all my BT devices and pairs with an earpiece, yet the Ipod Touch 2G will not detect anything at all. Nothing.

I am convinced there is a major bug in the iPod Touch Bluetooth.

I don't have a headset so I don't exactly know, but the iPod touch has A2DP Bluetooth which might only include stereo headphones.
And it really isn't a bug, it's just limited to headphones and peer to peer gaming. No file transfer, etc.
