iPod touch 2g batery won't charge, battery dead

    i used my iPod touch 2g battery till it died and i thought no problem, ill just plug it into my computer to charge and when i plugged it in there was no response and i did not see anything on the iPod screen. it was as if nothing happend help plz!!!

    its not dead. try put ipod in dfu and restore
    maybe a software glitch.

    leave it plugged in for a while

    Keep it plugged in for awhile then hold home and power for 3-5 seconds until you see the Apple logo come up.

    if u have an alternate charging system, for example, one of those ipod docks, or a wall charger, use that to charge it, not the computer. The computer only charges the ipod if it recognises it, but if u plug the ipod straight into a power source, then it should charge no problems.

    Well is your iPod under the TETHERED Jailbreak? If so please specify, if not, try plugging it into a direct power source, not computer.
