    Okay..
    So here is my problem:
I had a jailbroken iPod running on 3.0 and everything was just fine!
Then I jailbroke another iPod for my friend yesterday with the new Firmware 3.1.2, using Blackra1n! Everything worked just fine so I decided to jailbreak my iPod again!
So I jailbroke it and everything was fine... Then I used SharePod to put music on my iPod when it suddenly turned off...
I thought it would just be a crash and after the restart it would work fine..
But it didn't! It just restarted and iTunes wanted me to restore it..
So I wanted to do that, but it doesn't work, cause when it says "Waiting for iPod" nothing happens for hours! When I unplug the cable it gives me an error:
"Cannot restore, unknow error 2001" or with a "(9)
    I hope u know what I mean..
I also wanted to try it in DFU-Mode, but I couldn't get into it.. Idk why..
And the Firmware can't be the problem cause it is the original one from Apple!!

So I wonder what else I could try to fix this problem!
And I am sure I can't just send it to Apple, cause they would see that I tried jailbroke it, right?!

I hope u understand everything, cause I am actually German

All you can do now is keep trying to get it into DFU mode...it will eventually and I think it's the only way

    Okay... I will try!
But can u tell me what the difference between DFU Mode and the Normal Recovery Mode is??
And if I have to send it to Apple..
Will the find out that it was jailbroken?
    Thanks!

    Wow!
    I did it!
After a lot of tries I found something that finally helped me:

First I downloaded the 3.0 Firmware from right here:
    http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/
I already purchased it on iTunes, but because I had the newer one installed on my iPod I already deleted the other one and couldn't download it again.

After this I downloaded the DFU Helper, to put my iPod in the DFU-Mode, cause I couldn't get into it before..And that thing just helped me counting

    So check it out:

Then iTunes finds my iPod in Recovery Mode...
Now I press the Shift Button and click on Restore (Windows) so that I can choose my own Firmware. Then I chose my Firmware and my iPod finally restored and everything works fine now

If u want you can put the newest Firmware (3.1.2) on your iPod.. But I didn't cause 3.0 is now working fine for me and I doesn't wanna risk it anymore

If it just shows an Apple logo, and at the bottom of the Apple then it is stuck in a boot loop. The only way to restore it, I got this to work 4 times, 1 of 2 is to turn it off and then while turning it on let go of the lock button and hold the home screen or2 of 2 while connecting to iTunes Hold the Home button. One of those should work.
