    Can anyone advise please?

When I plug my ipod touch 2g into the dock on my Samsung MM-G35i it will not let me choose the music to play. It simply plays all songs in name order and displays “accessory connected” on the ipod.

When I hit the home button it takes me out of this but when I go to music menu to try and pick my own album it wont let me. It just says “accessory connected.”

    I hope this makes sense.

It looks as though the Samsung is overriding the iPod touch's music controls and expecting control from the Samsung midi-system itself. I would guess that either you need to control the iPod touch with the midi-system controls or it's not compatible with iPod touch and just the old iPods... I may be wrong though.

I thought as much. The annoying thing is that the only functions the Midi system gives you are play, pause etc… no menu option.

The book says it is compatible with touch 2g, which I suppose it is (sort of)

There’s always the AUX input via the headphone jack.
