ipod touch 2g 2.2.1 to 2.2?

    hey guys i bought my ipod touch 2g with the version 2.2.1 would it be safe or possible to downgrade it to 2.2 seeing that the factory version was 2.2.1...let me know looking forward to your replies

    Yes, restore to 2.2, you dont really need to do it unless you want to jailbreak...

    i want to jailbreak it thats the thing....but i am wonder if it would mess up my ipod seeing that i got it with 2.2.1

    you can jailbreak on 2.2.1

    yea but its the thread jailbreak you have to boot it every time u shut it off or restart it...do they have a permanent jailbreak for the 2.2.1 on ipod touch 2g

    no, there is no untethered jailbreak for the iPod touch, no matter what firmware you are on
