I posted earlier today, but can not find post, may have put in wrong place, I'm new at this site.

Here is my problem, I downloaded the QuickPwn 2.2-1 program,
unzipped, followed the instructions as shown, and got to step #6 (Uploading Exploit Bookloader) and I waited and waited, and nothing happened. I unpluged my iPod and started over, 4 times. I then deleted the QuickPwn 2.2 program, reinstalled. Went to iTunes and Restored my iPod, allthough, it had already been restored. I then went threw all the steps again, to no avail.
I have Firmware 2.2_5G77 iPod Touch 8GB - running windows vista - I 'run as adinistrator' on the unzipped file before jailbreaking. I have updated .NET Framework 3.5.
I don't know what else I can do, so this is why I'm asking for this help.

    Thank You,

    Here is what I have done;

    Uninstalled - Apple - iTunes - Quick Time - QuickPwn 2.2

    Restored iPod to iPod1.1_2.0.2_Restore.ipsw

Reinstalled - Apple - iTunes - Quick Time

    Updated iPod to iPod1.1_2.2_Restore.ipsw

    Downloaded QuickPwn 2.2-1

Then I went to my computer:
Changed Compatibility to Windows XP (SP2) - (Running Vista)
    Choose Run as Administrator
Ran QuickPwn - Got no further than "Wait for your iPod to connect in Recovery Mode"
waited for 10 minutes - nothing happened - then disconnected

What am I doing wrong, that this will not work.

    Please Help

    Jailbreak iPod Touch Firmware 2.2

I download 2.1 Firmware, restored to my iPod by the shift/restore.
Then upgraded to 2.2. Then downloaded QuickPwn 2.2. Opened QuickPwn followed the instructions and got to about the fourth screen where is says "Wait For Your iPod to Connect to Recovery Mode. The iPod showed in DFU Mode, I waited 32 minutes and the program would go no further. I'm lost as to what to do next, I have been doing this for two days without any success. Will someone please help.

Do you think I should restore to 2.1 firmware and try a jailbreak on 2.1?

Do I have to 'end procces' for iTunes, Apple and iPod before jailbreaking, if so I have done this, and still can not jailbreak.

    I need help please.

    Thank You

I now have my iPod Jailbroke, I went to a friends who has a Windows XP SP3 system, and everything went fine. There is something in the Windows Vista system that is stopping me from jailbreaking.

    Thanks for everyones help.
