iPod Touch 2.0 firmware is same as iPhone?

    Is 2.0 the same firmware for iPod touch and iPhone or is the iPod Touch firmware different?

    And since you posted, no they are 2 different Operating Systems and are packaged differently.

    No, My friend has the 2.0 5a345 for iPod, they are both different. They both run on iPhone OS.

    Well obviously they're different. But at the Core, they are the same.

    Of course you can't run the iPhone version of the 2.0 firmware on your iPod Touch, well actually, you COULD, but of course there would be problems.

    The Firmwares both use the same iPhone OS, but the iPod Touch version is just edited to work for the iPod Touch.

    Core is different too because of different driver set ;p but core stuff of core is the same ^^ also lot of libs and apps are the same

    remember the soft-jailbreak for 1.1.3? We were putting the iphone firmware on ipod touches, werent we?
