    Hey Everyone,
its my first time on this website and im having difficulty wiht something
So im more familiar in computers and technologie then my friend so she asked me to add "app store" to her 1st gen. iPod Touch.
    - it is not Jailbroken

So i downloaded the latest update ( which is for all ipod touches & iphones )
    3.1 ! i think which was 4.95$,
Anyways, everything had worked out the app store came, yes it had restored the ipod and all songs are gone. but i downloaded 3 games everything went normally, but i dont know why they wont open. i tap on it then it closes back to the home screen.
i have tried turning it off completely and turning it back on

Can anyone help as soon as possible please !!!

Try installing another app. If that doesn't work try a restore.

Usually, a reboot should do it.... this is strange.

Try a reboot, for it seems that this has worked for all the other people with this similar problem.

The answer is very simple (assuming what you typed is correct). They said they rebooting so that is not the problem. You said that you have the 3.1 firmware... 3.1.2 is the newest. Some apps (i.e. the ones you are trying to run) only work on this firmware. Let me know if this helps!

Depends what game it is, If its like ace combat it will most likely crash. I'm jailbroken, and i always put my device in safe mode while playing processor intensive games.

Press and hold the sleep button. Then slide the slider. Then while you are waiting for the iPod or iPhone to turn back on, learn grammar.
