Hello, I am new as of a few weeks ago to the iTouch relm. It is a MA627LL using software version 2.2.1(5H11). I have an issue with the wireless device. I bought it used, worked fine just could never attached to my wireless router using WEP 128. So, I completed a hardware rest using iTunes and now, the "Wi-Fi" section under general is grayed out. I am unable to activate it and all third party wifi detectors fail to load. My guess is because the apps are not able to see the wireless. I have not done anything except for the attempt of restore through iTunes. Is there any other otions for me to get the Wi-Fi to turn on? All other functions appear to work fine.

Thank you in advance for any help or direction you can give me.

    Welcome to iPod Touch Fans.

try going to a mall or near a bunch of apartment buildings and see if you can detect any router. if it can't detect any routers anywhere, it could be a hardware fault with the Wi-Fi antenna. Just call Apple and they should be able to exchange it for you.
