    Hi,

Yesterday I updated my Ipod Touch 1st Gen from firmware 1.1.5 to 2.2.1 .. But that's when the problem occured.

I didn't have any Wi-fi problems before, but since the update it doesn't work anymore.

We have a wireless network at home, with MAC filtering. But I guess this isn't the problem, since it did work before.
When i search for available networks with the Ipod, it does find ours (but it had a lock). So i tap it, I enter the password (guess it's the correct one

) and it 'connects' (a 'V' icon appears before the network name).

Although, when i try to open safari (or connect to the iTunes store or something else), it says that there is no internetconnection!

I don't know what to do.. Hope someone can help me, because it's quite frustrating

You mean in the left corner at the top of the screen?
Most of the time it does, but they do disappear once in a while..

Oh by the way, i forgot to mention that when i select the network, sometimes my ipod doesn't seem to get an IP adres (i think that most of the time then there aren't any bars)... When I type an IP adres manually, the bars appear, but some minutes later, the IP adress i entered just disappears, or the Ipod gives it another one (but one that doenst match the routers)

Maybe this is the cause of the problem?
