    hey guys,
    i have a 1st gen ipod touch on 3.0
i understand a mic is compatible with 1st gen, but which ones specifically?
the ones that go in 3.5 or the dock port?
and can anyone find me a cheap one on ebay ?
I need it for a tuner app for music class.
also, would the recording quality be good? would the tuner be accurate?
    Thanks

Anything that will work has to be through the dock connector on the 1G, sorry. I use the MacAlly iVoice III

They would be, I assume at least. It detects a mic, so it should be able to work.
