    Whats there to do with an ipod touch 1st gen now adays? and whats so good about this android os?

    Nothing all that great about Android, its just another OS you can run, if your in the mood for it. The greatest accomplishment from my perspective is that you can hack a PS3 with it, although that can also be done with a USB dev. board, or a TI-84+ calc.

    Wow an iPod can hack a PS3?That's pretty dang hardcore.I'll tell you what,without hackers our world wouldn't be like it is.Hackers are da BOMB!

    how does the itouch hack the ps3? what does it do

    uhh, kinda over my head but basically from what I understand:
    the device of your choice is plugged into the playstation, you then press the power button, followed by the eject button. This causes the playstation to look for usb devices. the device turns itself into a virtual usb hub that sends different signals from each virtual usb when activated. This somehow allows for you to install user-created packages (Homebrew)

    another way to put it would to say that it puts you into developer mode. Not to be confused with a developer console (which contains debugging settings)

    this is what I understand, but I could be completely wrong!!!!
    all I know is that it works, and I no longer have to take my games out of their cases. LOL
