iPod Touch 1G Background not changeable (?)

Sry I didn't recognized that this was an english forum^^ (stupid...I know)

    So I try to translate:

I can't changed the background of my iPod Touch (Lock-Screen), that means, I am able to go to Settings and set a new Background, but when I press "Save", there is no change! The same Background again and again....I'm getting very dizzy.....

    My iPod is:
    - 1G
    -on firmware 2.2.1
    -jailbreaked
-previously backuped (no change....problem still remains)

Can someone help me with my problem?

BTW: If someone could tell me how I get Summerboard or Customize on firmware 2.2.1 it would help a lot.....I would try to change background with those apps!

To change your lock screen reboot.

To get summberboard to work, well it can't. Winterboard is the Summerboard for 2.0+ only. You can download that in Cydia.

As for Customize, you can also download that in Cydia. However I personally cannot get themes from Customize. I'm not sure about others though. But I can change the strings, etc.

    Hope I helped.

For future reference we do have international sections. It's down more toward the bottom.

I also have this problem. My iPod touch 1G is not jailbreaked so I can't ssh into it. Is there a solution to this without jailbreaking (I can't jailbreak, QuickPWN isn't working.

The first thing to try is rebooting. If that doesn't work, then disable all themes you have going right now from Winterboard. Now go to Settings > General > Wallpaper. It should be all good now. Tell me if it works out for you.

I tried rebooting but it had no effect. My iPod is not jailbroken so I can't use Winterboard.

This happened to me once and I couldn't change my wallpaper through the photos app.
If you have ssh installed navigate to the folder: var/mobile/Library, then delete the file 'LockBackground.jpg', this is your lockscreen picture. Now just open photos or settings and select whichever picture you want as your background and it should work fine.
    Hope this helps.
