Hey, I've been using my ipod touch for over year and it randomly now has these dead/maybe stuck pixels. I doubt the pixels are stuck because when I put the screen in sleep mode it has these giant black spots and lines on it. The spots are still sensitive to touch, but I can't see through them... it's really weird. The spot keeps growning larger and larger. I was wondering if there is a solution for this, and if there isn't can I get it replaced by Apple? I'm really bummed, my touch was my favorite little tool.

Try A bad pixel fixing app in cydia. Just type in bad pixel or something in search. I used one myself and the spot slowly went away but seeing that your spot is pretty big, you might want to use this app and leave it there for like an hour

you can still restore even if its JB. Just connect it to itunes and press restore. If that doesnt work try DFU restore.

It fails and just goes to the restore screen and stays there... DFU or not
