Hi guys i am running the official apple 2.0 FW and i wanted to know is there a way to backup the firmware and getting a hold of the file. When in iTunes, you have the option to backup/restore your device. The file that is backed up if I'm not mistaken is a file with the extension name ".ipsw" - Once this file is backed up threw iTunes, is there a way to get a hold of that file manually? Like does any 1 know the location of the backup in the windows files systems or perhaps the directory to look into?
