    Hello,
in my location is currently no wifi network but I want to play some games via wifi with a friend. Is it possible to create a wifi network with one of our iPods in order to establish a connection between them?

    thx

No, because you have no wifi to start with.

Of course it isn't by default. But maybe it is possible via Jailbreak. Maybe there is an app that does things like that (AD-HOC-wifi networking)? Maybe there is a program that is originally written for linux and could be easily ported? Actually, I don't have the foggiest idea about things like that, but it would be nice if it would work

For wi-fi games it is required for both to have wi-fi connectivity at the moment.

Nah, there's no AD-HOC networking for the iPods.

Besides, there aren't any applications that support it.

What is it that you want to do?
