My brother has an iPod touch. I also do. I hate it when he doesn't pay attention to me when I'm talking. I heard somewhere you can ssh into an ipod from your ipod using terminal. Can anyone help me with that? And also some commands to make him panic! Thanks.

you dont have to use terminal. As long as other ipod has OpenSSH installed, you can just get any SSH app from app store and ssh into the ipod.
Ofcorse this must be done on same wifi network.

If you want to do it from the terminal, the command is "ssh root@<ip-address>" where <ip-address> is the IP of his iTouch(Example IP: 192.168.1.136). Then you can run commands with root access to his device. If you want to view the files it's "sftp root@<ip-address>". Use "cd <dir>" to change directories, "ls" to view files in current directory, and "get <filename>" or "rm <filename>" to get/remove files. If you want any more info, just ask!

Yeah that will work just fine. I use it to shutdown my sister's iPod all the time when she's blasting her crap music.

killall SpringBoard - force a respring
    reboot - Obviously, reboot
    halt - Shutdown the iPod
passwd root - Change the root password

If you really want to get sneaky, you can also play with the shutdown command, which lets you set it to shutdown after a certain amount of time.

Yeah, well, problem is OpenSSH drains the battery. Fast.
