    I am crawling through my plists and I found an interesting finding...
    This is the content of my /private/var/root/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.AutoWake.plist
    Code:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple Computer//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
    <plist version="1.0">
    <dict>
            <key>WARNING</key>
            <string>Do not edit this file by hand - it must remain in sorted-by-date order.</string>
            <key>wake</key>
            <array>
                    <dict>
                            <key>eventtype</key>
                            <string>wake</string>
                            <key>scheduledby</key>
                            <string>com.apple.springboard.calendar</string>
                            <key>time</key>
                            <date>2007-10-19T01:36:55Z</date>
                    </dict>
            </array>
    </dict>
    </plist>

    I'd be greatly appreciated if someone can try to figure out what it is scheduled to do on that date...

    Maybe something to do with the bluetooth auto-waking itself (wishful thinking

    No, it looked like its intending to do something on its own at that time.
    I'm still looking around, hoping to find all information related to it...

    Thats the day all iPods release the EMP signal on all PC's. So Apple can rule the world...

    Looks like it could be an automatic update perhaps? Maybe Apple is trying to quell our efforts thinking that their SDK will be enough *cough* in four months *cough*. Maybe any iPoT near a WiFi connection will be updated to disable native apps

    But that's just worst-case scenario (besides a brick... that would most definitely be... not good (for lack of a more family-friendly word)).

    So, save a back up of that, then edit the date for five minutes from now. Set the iPod to sleep, and see what happens.

    have you added any calendar dates? cuz that says that it was created by the calendar. maybe you added a calendar event and set it to "alarm" you when the event arrives.

    i talked to guys on toc2rta's irc, and was suggested that when springboard starts/restsrts, it will automatically register that wake event in 24 hours' time. I would test it myself, but springboard resetting will update it, so I am just gonna wait until tomorrow and see if it does anything.

    Edit: nope, no calendar events added
