Is there any way to use my iPod's wifi on my desktop computer (Win 7)? It seems silly, but the connection on my iPod is really fast, compared to the slow connection from my computer.

    Thanks!

No, it's not possible. Are you using Wi-Fi on your computer?

    How old is it?

Yes, I am using wireless-g on my computer, and I just recieved the computer a week or two ago.

EDIT: Forgot to metion, it didn't come with a wireless card, so I installed one manually, and set it to wireless-g.

the reason the connection is faster on your ipod is because your ipod streams considerably less data than your computer im guessing.

if your computer is that slow on WiFi, it might be driver issue or faulty wifi card

It has the most recent driver from Broadcom, and it worked fine before, although that computer was admittedly much closer to the router.
