Ok so up to yesterday i thought it was normal for respring to take up 1 minute to 1 and a half minutes. But then i saw some videos on youtube where people would respring in about 15 seconds. I would like to know why this is. My ipod only has 8 gb out of 32 on it, it only has about 10/15 themes and most of them barely have any icons.

It depends on the the respring is trying to do. If you are just respringing for the sake of it, it should take not that long. But if you are changing a theme or something, you will expect a longer respring.

Well it takes longer for the themes, but some people on youtube only take about 15 seconds or less and mine takes like a minute. Even my friend's filled 8gb 1st generation resprings faster.

If you have MobileSubstrate stuff, it might take longer.

    It happens.

It all depends on the kind of stuff you've installed.
