Ok I just updated to 3.0, so that means restore. So I resorted my iPod, and started to sync my 6000 songs back onto it. (This is after I Jailbroke it) I left the room waiting for it to finish syncing so i could go chill with some friends after it was done. I come back in an hour, which i thought would be plenty of time for it to put my music on my ipod. I was wrong, it had only copied about 500 songs on. I had to leave with my classic for the first time in forever. So i get back and my music is still not done. After adding it up i figured the entire sync took around 14 hours. Ive disabled itunes from sending diagnostic information, but that does not help. Can anybody tell me what is wrong with my ipod or computer?

If your pc or mac has less then 1Gb of ram, then it will sync very slowy.

Im using windows xp with 1gb ram which i also updated to 3.0.
I have 533 songs which took me less than 20minutes to do.

    I say update your ram.

iTunes does suck with iPod touches. I think they have REALLY slow SSDs in them. When I resynced everything on my iPod, I just let it run overnight.

    Yes. That is why.

I has to travel from the HD, Through the cord, Into your usb. Throught your computer, iTunes, And down into the iPod.

Also, iTunes on a PC doesn't run as well as on a Mac. I just got a Mac and I've noticed a hell of a difference.
