I downloaded Five Row Springboard but i accidentally got it from cydia.[PIRACY].com not modmyi and when i restarted springboard it opened up in safe mode.
I pressed Restart and the same thing happened so i went into cydia to remove Five Row Springboard and when I tried it stopped a little bit in saying something about a subprocess and error code 127.
I tried deleting a bunch of other mods but Five Row Springboard still wouldn't delete.
And so I decided to restore.
And then about 8 pixels from the end it got stuck.
I left it for almost an hour and it was in the same state.
I force powered off and tried again and it froze in the same spot.
And then I tried about 10 more times with the same result.
I'm using windows XP with iTunes 9.2.1

If you have wifi sync on your computer uninstall that and the restore will work.

It said Error iPod not able to restore and error code 1603 2 times.

EDIT: I restarted and it restored.

the first repository you mentioned is related to piracy and that is prohibited on thie forum... don't talk about illegalities on this forum or you may be banned. five row springboard is incompatible with ios 4 right? thats why you don't install it.

five row springboard depends on iconsupport, which is incompatible with ios 4... make sure you check compatibility before installing
