    Hi,

First of all: sorry for my crappy english, I'm from the Netherlands.

I'm having a huge problem with my iPod Touch 2G 16GB.

I wanted to JB it, using Red Jolt.
All of the first steps were easy, and they all worked.
But when I had to boot my iPod, it went wrong.
All I got was the ''connect to iTunes'' screen.
I tried to boot it, using the one click boot thing.
    That didn't work.
So, I wanted to restore it using iTunes but it can't.
Everytime I restore, I get a screen saying the iPod will boot within 10 sec, blablabla.
And then it just goes back to recoverymode.

So: I can't restore my iPod.

    Using:
    Mac OS X 10.5.5
    iTunes: 8.0
iPod FW: 2.2.1 (trying to restore)
Error while restoring JB'ed FW: 21 or 1064.

Plx someone help me, I need my iPod srsly....

(PS: I have JB'ed my previousl iPod touch 1G 8GB without any probs)

    Code:
    iRecovery -f iBSS211.dfu [WINDOWS]
    ./rslite
    !iBSS211.dfu
    [Unplug, replug iPod]
    ./rslite
    setenv boot-path /System/Library/Caches/com.apple.kernelcaches/kernelcache.s5l8720x

    I think that's right, but I'm a Windows user.
    Then restore.

    stop giving wrong commands!

    Code:
    setenv auto-boot true
    saveenv
is NOT TO BE USED. IT SAYS SO IN THE README FOR REDSN0W

    sheesh...learn to read kids.

    That's a terminal command, right?

    Code:
    iRecovery -f iBSS211.dfu [WINDOWS]
    ./rslite
    !iBSS211.dfu
    [Unplug, replug iPod]

    Code:
    ./rslite
    setenv boot-path /System/Library/Caches/com.apple.kernelcaches/kernelcache.s5l8720x
    setenv auto-boot true
    saveenv

Sorry gojohnnyboi, didn't mean to do that. I did it myself and it worked though. Anyways, I edited my post.

    Again, Apologies.

Follow what gojohnnyboi says, he's more experienced than me...

And you'll have to split the code, just like I did?

And could you give me a hand with the JB'ing?
    ------------------double post merged------------------
All didn't work, just called Apple.
They will make UPS send a box, so it's being sent to Apple.
Will they be able to see I've tried to JB it?
